Ahhh.... morons

One of the latest controversies in the Indian community has nothing to do with politics or the Bhopal Disaster, or Khalistan, or nuclear war (not that any of those things were ever controversial in the Indian community), but good old fashioned racism brought to you be the phenomenon known as outsourcing.

Of course if you asked the average American to tell you about outsourcing they'll give you a diatribe on IT jobs going to India and the like. You won't hear about Monsanto's assimilation of India's agricultural industry, but you'll hear about Hanuman's rebirth in the guise of a newborn muslim baby.

Or you'll hear Americans bitching about call centers and lost jobs, but they seldom talk about the global institutions like the IMF and World Bank that put them into place.

Anyways, said ignorance manifested itself on a Philadelphia Radio station- Power 99 FM Radio. It's said to be staffed by "Shock Jocks" like that's some kind of badge of honor- we're all so shocking when we're behind the steering wheel of our cars or on the phone behind a disconnect button or whatever detached
instance of life we feel isolates us from the rest of the world to justify agressively safe behaviour.
